MY WORK

I make theatre and performance because I believe stories, visceral experiences, and positive encounters with art change us and we change the world around us every single day with each choice we make. I work in a collaborative setting because ideas are stronger when designed across difference and they only get better when challenged, and my best work emerges when it is forged in human connection and without fear of failure. Here are photos from some of my favorite theatrical projects.

Tadashi Suzuki, Culture Is The Body

“ What artists can do, in fact what we must do, is create continuity in the environment that surrounds us. For me, this has meant maintaining a group of people who share a common worldview and collaborate over long periods of time in the same context. Without this continuity of artistic infrastructure - space, theory, training, company, artistic vision, philosophy and the like- the creative impulse cannot blossom.”
